So shortly after the heavy Corona period, when all the pubs, restaurants and restaurateurs tried to switch back to normal, a few guests went to the old customs house to have something to eat. "Probably" only with this one intention. The "dear" guests were served immediately by a waitress, of course with a face mask, according to a 5-star standard. When paying there was praise and probably also a tip for the nice waitress from the "local" wannabe regulars. Not enough for the wrong game, the guests immediately walked to the town hall next door to report to the waitress in the Office of Law and Order about the violation of the currently applicable Corona conditions, as she wore a face mask when serving, but only probably over the mouth and NOT over the nose. The customs house promptly received a call from the town hall and luckily only a warning for the waitress's terrible mishap. Great ... THAT you have to think about! What kind of people are they? Absolute monsters in my eyes. The sheer shame. But probably exactly "those" who vote for the CDU in the makers and then throw stones at "frogs" in the park pond. Karma hits everyone. Also such. In any case, my family and I have been regular customers of the Zollhaus for many years and will remain so, no matter what crisis happens to us. We are always served nice and friendly there. The good German cuisine tastes good and is affordable. Palate high! Please keep it up and don't let yourself get down! There is nothing comparable in makers, not even with regard to the warm atmosphere.

Great value for money, lovely reception with a cold drink after a bike ride. We enjoyed a nice meal, simple but very tasty! The trout was delicious and the schnitzel was very wholesome.

Were in family here today very good food at good prices. All dishes (neck steak with onions and roasted potatoes, sauerbraten with really homemade red cabbage and dumplings, schnitzel with cream chanterelles, Swiss-style schnitzel with French fries and everything with a small delicious side salad) are appetizing, hot and at the same time on the table. And the really decent portions served by a very courteous service! Too bad we didn't take any food photos out of sheer greed ...

We went to the customs house yesterday with our neighbors and the children. The service was very nice, the food was very, very tasty and quickly prepared. Extra praise to the chef, who really did a great job. It seemed to me that the other guests at the neighboring tables were also very satisfied. The only thing I didn't like at all was ..., ... that I ate far too quickly ... and couldn't enjoy this delicious meal, prepared with passion and love, long enough. I would have loved to lick my plate clean at the end. Thank you very much for everything, we'll be back soon. Very highly recommended. LG

Eaten very tasty, super fresh and very hot. Just how we like it. Of course, fresh food also takes a little longer, but since it was really good and with very nice service, you like to wait. In summer we come back and try the homemade ice cream 😅

Well located with nice ambience and good opportunity for a walk. Food delicious and affordable. Very good alternative to the big crowded plants. Food is good with enough choice there should be something for everyone. The toilets were clean and suitable for toddlers. Restaurant is relatively small, but there are ways to sit outside.
